This month I decided to keep plans to a minimum and aimed at spending as much time possible realxing. However, fairly last minute plans fit around my work schedule making it rather jam packed.
Shorter daylight hours meant more of a focus on relaxing at home and self care.
These are a selection of images of things I do to take care of myself, physically and emotionally. From inside and out. Due to past difficulties, I know how important it is for my mental health to do things that help me. Especially in winter. I am glad to be able to work full time with the stability and connection to people there, which feels healthy for me. I am still able to spend my time wisely on pursuing my art. Also managing my time with quick workouts, sketches, reading when there is time and little things that bring me joy and help me to enjoy winter.
I have made great progress with the Dahlia painting I have been working on, I feel it wont be too long untill this is completed now.
I think that I still find enough time to spend painting and it is my favourite thing/place to be. Before, or after work I can even spend a few hours at my easel instead of watching an episode or a film. Sometimes I just leave the laundry pile to turn into a mountain before I put it all away and focus on things that matter most. Then I have days off and time to myself to rest still.
I also became part of something new✨️ A new emporium that has opened in Sangate.

I spent time carefully selecting my art products and quickly work with help from Curio founders to set up before Christmas. It is amazing how fast the shop came together, and how beautiful it looked with everyones great products.
I am glad to be in there amonst the other wonderful sellers and makers!
Happy New Year!

Thankful for for all the love and support in 2025.
I am focusing on continuing to learn, grow and love myself and others more in 2026. To work hard but with health and peace being priority.
Take care!
