March blog post

Pretty busy month, I wanted to get ready and get everything done before I went on holiday to Egypt. I didn't want to have any guilt around not getting things done while I was on holiday!

It was a great month, just a lot more busy squeezing in a week off and turning on holiday mode.

Aside from holiday prep there was still work and lots of art work I wanted to get done. My focus was on springtime art and a re-stock of supplies and my products. Spring things!

With blossom blooming I thought it was a perfect time to share this Van Gogh textural piece. I love blossom and Van Gogh. I also had a few smaller pieces which are spring inspired and a bounty of handmade cards. Some new print designs too.

My holiday went well. I loved relaxing in the sun with my friend, by the pool or going to the beach. We went on a couple of trips one to Chiro from Hurgahda and one to the desert to ride quad bikes. That was great fun. It was great not to have to cook and the resort had a gym and a spa too.

There was lots of beautiful flowers, cats and food. I felt refreshed and inspired to create.

I have continued making progress on paintings I am currently working on, I am slowly building up smaller details. I have also created a scrapbook journal from my trip to egypt with drawings, paintings and things I collected. I have also continued art journalling and my excersize and self care.

I am glad the light is better, flowers are around and spring season is here.

I feel much more energized and able to do more with my time.

Happy spring,

Gemma
