My first blog post

Hi, here is self portrait done in Charcoal. This is my first post, I'm thinking i'll use this space to describe my artistic process.

Charcoal sketch created on the 30th of December 2022, while watching a Renoir documentary who famously painted mainly portraits of women.

Here I am not looking happy, on this particular day I had felt the sting of rejection, again. However, I now love this drawing and feel it reminds me to seek to be wiser.

I often reflect on this drawing as its framed on the wall behind my easel where I work. The drawing inspires me to critic my work and focus on progress.

Mistakes happen, let go, forgive, seek wisdom, gain understanding and grow in knowledge.
