October blog post!

I have decided I'm finished painting this autumn tree line. It's going to be varnished and then framed soon. I will photograph for prints too, which will be avaliable soon on my Etsy. See my linktree for my Etsy and my other sale sites and socials!

It's been a beautiful month. I love autumn colour and the beauty nature puts forth in this season! I enjoy focusing on the transition from summer to autumn, Adjusting to the change in light and weather but also colour. This can be difficult too as a painter, the changing light levels mean I'm working with less daylight and more artificial light.

I have been working on a commission pece, as well as a few other paintings. I left the commission for a little while as I'd added a layer of oil paint and wanted that to dry before I add more detail. I know this will be a very detailed painting with lots of layers of paint, so it is vital I let these layers dry well to prevent the paint wrinkling.

I will continue working on the commission now it's been long enough to dry.

Lots of paintings in progress and lots to do, focusing on eating well, being active and a strong immune system.
