It's starting to feel autumnal and I have said goodbye to summer.
I like to make sure I adjust to the change in season, I love the energy and vibrancy of summer, but enjoy watching as nature changes in preparation for a new season. The summer flowers turn to seed, and the sunny days become fewer. I made sure to enjoy the sunshine whenever possible with running and riding my bike, or relaxing with a book or friends and family.
I decided to stop working on the roses painting now I have finished the first basic layer. It is good to let this dry well, before I start applying more layers of detail. However the main reason I stopped working on it was because someone at work had some beautiful Dahlia flowers from their garden which Inspired me to start a new painting.
I have paintings at the framers which I can't wait to get back when they are ready, hopefully not too long now.
At the moment I am continuing a similar routine with more effort to motivate myself to be strong and healthy, physically and mentally while the weather changes to more rain and cold winds.
Enjoying as much of the summer flowers I can, because soon they will be finished blooming. Relaxing more now the vibrant energy of summer is over. A strong focus on peace and self care, enjoying the summer to autumn transition.

Autumn prints are avaliable to buy on my Etsy https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Artbybradshaw

There is also paintings and printed items for sale too. I have a range of autumnal art. Take a look at my paintings for sale and my printed collection.
Thanks for reading my blog post. Take care and get plenty of vitamin C to keep colds at bay with the changing weather! The berries have been picked and the fruits and falling from the tree's, best be eating them.
