Violet Flower Water Colour Painting White Frame And Mount 10x10inch. Painted using quality paint and materials. Watercolour painting on 300gsm cold pressed paper. Photo reference is the use of my own photography of a violet flower. Colour studies done working to mix the correct colour mixes seen separately in a sketchbook. Also, research into painting techniques, paint mixes, and artists' works done to help with the painting process. Painting is completed in layers of glazes and finer detailing using a range of brushes from flat wash brushes to tiny detail brushes. Framed in a clean white frame, lovely contrast to the flower with the mount board to keep the painting off the glass, allowing air flow to keep to painting preserved and protected. My admiration of the beautiful creation around me inspires my artwork, and I enjoy trying to capture the beauty I see. The violet flower is 15 to 25mm across and its details are hard to view at that size. But here, the painting is based upon macro photography of the flower and has been painted and framed to fit a 7x7 inch painting a much larger scale.
